Job summary

Allied Universal in Columbus, OH is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed) to monitor and safeguard clients across government facilities and airports. You will provide excellent customer service, deter incidents, and support access control using tablet or computer systems.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and government personnel while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, access points, and perimeters, reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials and visitor authorizations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and communicate observations to site contacts and public-service agencies.
• Complete activity reports and shift logs accurately and timely.
