Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Austin, TX to provide customer service, deter incidents, and maintain a visible security presence across manufacturing and industrial facilities. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and report daily activities to site leadership, while delivering professional, courteous service.

Requirements include at least 2 years of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and

Qualifications

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by law.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, including production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual activity, facility concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding incidents and daily activities.
