Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Office Unarmed position in Downtown Austin. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, provide excellent guest service, and support a welcoming environment for guests and staff.

The role offers a flexible schedule with specific day/evening shifts. Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen where permitted.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel and resort buildings, guest areas, parking locations, amenities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while communicating professionally with location management, staff, guests, and responding public services.
