Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Access in Blythewood, SC. You will monitor facilities, perform routine patrols, control access, and deliver professional customer service while adapting to site needs.

The position offers a pay rate of $19.10 per hour, a daytime evening schedule, and opportunities to grow with our team through ongoing training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• Minimum two years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular patrols throughout facilities, including interiors, grounds, and parking areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report/escalate as needed.
• Document observations and communicate information to site leadership or responders.
