Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time unarmed Security Officer in Miami, FL. You will patrol retail locations, provide customer service, observe for theft, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents.

Position offers schedule flexibility with DayTimeFri and Sat shifts. Prior security or loss prevention experience is preferred; a guard card is good to have, and a background check plus drug screen are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail staff while following security procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate as needed per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the retail location including sales areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points to deter unauthorized activity and theft.
• Document observations and incidents and relay information to site leadership.
