Job summary

Allied Universal in Miami, FL is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Guard with at least one year of security experience. You will patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff at a luxury retail location.

Maintain a professional presence, monitor entrances, observe and report incidents, and follow site procedures. Background checks and drug screening are required. This position offers flexible day/time shifts and pays $19.03 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and a drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, guests, and retail associates while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the luxury retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, potential hazards, policy violations, and incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence and assist with access control and visitor inquiries; complete accurate incident reports.
