Job summary

Allied Universal in Norwood, MA is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard (Unarmed) to monitor and safeguard client sites. You will provide a visible security presence, assist visitors, and support a welcoming environment while offering courteous customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations will be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out site security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized entries to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete activity reports and shift communications per site procedures.
