Qualifications

• TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) required.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen per policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors and vendors at a government port location per site rules.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, buildings, access points and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports with accurate details per site requirements.
