Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in East Elmhurst, NY to monitor facilities, deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service to riders and staff. Qualifications

• Security-related experience required (minimum six months).
• New York State Security Guard License required.
• Background investigation conducted per laws.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities and bus operations locations.
• Respond to incidents, passenger concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned transit areas, including bus terminals, platforms, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activities throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
