Job summary

Allied Universal in New York is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard (Unarmed) for a government transportation location in Flushing. You will deter incidents through visible patrols, provide friendly customer service, and enforce site rules with professionalism.

The schedule is Daytime Thursday and Friday, with flexibility via the Claim a Shift platform. Applicants must hold a NY Security Guard License, have at least 6 months of security experience, and be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to transit passengers, employees and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions and security concerns.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and logs per requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities, bus depots, parking areas, platforms, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned transit locations, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
