Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Patrol Driver) for East Elmhurst, NY. You will provide security and customer service at a public transportation location, conducting patrols and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role requires a NYS Security Guard License, at least 6 months security experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Schedule is overnight with multiple shifts; driving duties are included for the patrol driver position.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities and areas.
• Prepare clear incident reports per site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at public transportation locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of bus facilities, transit areas, building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing individuals to appropriate areas, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.
