Job summary

Allied Universal in Seattle, WA is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer to protect clients at a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• A guard card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check required by policy and law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state or locality.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site information, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
