Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Guard in Carson, CA to provide customer service and protect residents and visitors. You will conduct patrols, maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents, and document daily activities.

This role requires a valid driver's license, a background check, and the ability to work a schedule that includes evenings or nights. A guard card/license is preferred, and you must be at least 18 years old for unarmed positions.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a valid driver’s license as per policy and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and daily policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of residential areas, parking, exteriors, and perimeters; report incidents and hazards.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate contacts or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; maintain an orderly residential environment.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs of patrols and daily activities.
