Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a utility infrastructure location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and support emergency response activities.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate observations to supervisors and site representatives.
