Allied Universal in Signal Hill, CA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Driver Security Operations. You will serve government locations, patrol, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding our integrity-driven values.

This role requires an armed guard card, 6 months of armed security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work day and night shifts. A background check and drug screen apply; this on-site position offers flexible scheduling

Qualifications

Armed guard card or license required.
At least 6 months of armed security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
Drug screen required, where permitted by law.
Participation in industry-specific security training programs.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location.
Respond to incidents and inquiries calmly and following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of government facilities and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs and reports.
Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
