Job summary

Qualifications

• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• State/city security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation conducted as per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized entry and theft-related activity.
• Document incidents and patrols accurately and communicate to site leadership.
