Qualifications

• New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas and entrances.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized activity or issues.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally using de-escalation techniques.
• Document observations and communicate important information to leadership and emergency personnel.
