Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Support in Eagan, MN. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, respond to concerns, and provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, reporting incidents, and following campus protocols. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, background check, drug screen, and a valid driver’s license for driving roles.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of educational facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
