Allied Universal in Honolulu, HI is seeking a part-time Unarmed Security Guard to monitor campuses, deter incidents, and provide friendly service to students, staff, and visitors. You will perform patrols, manage access points, respond to alarms, and maintain accurate logs while upholding company standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Candidates should provide excellent customer service to students, staff, visitors, and campus partners.
• Ability to perform campus security procedures and follow site policies.
• Awareness of emergency response procedures and alarm handling.
• Demonstrated integrity and reliability in security roles.
• Licensing and background checks as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, residence areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations through required communication channels and documentation.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while providing professional directions and assistance to individuals throughout the location.
