Job summary

Allied Universal seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications in Orlando, FL to safeguard clients across environments such as Education. You will patrol, deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to site procedures.

The role emphasizes responsiveness to incidents, supervision reporting, and collaboration with campus staff to maintain a safe, welcoming environment. Valid CPR and licensing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while following security procedures and campus policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions and reporting unauthorized access.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with supervision and campus representatives.
