Job summary

Envision Imaging in McKinney, TX seeks a part-time Ultrasound Technologist to join Mondays from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, on-site. You will perform ultrasound procedures for adults and children, assist radiologists during exams, and ensure high-quality imaging with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include patient instruction, chart reviews, image transfer, and coordination with radiology staff. Compliance, safety, and equipment maintenance are essential to daily operations.

Qualifications

• Two+ years’ ultrasound experience preferred.
• Ability to educate patients on procedures.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player.
• Able to excel in a very fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to exceed company and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Interface with patients to ascertain medical history and explain the procedure to obtain the best image.
• Review patient charts for missing information and screen for implants or contrast allergies.
• Perform ultrasound scans and print images while monitoring patient care before, during and after the exam.
• Assist Radiologist on specialized exams.
• Transfer images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinate scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintain and inspect equipment; report quality concerns or deficiencies.
• Interface with Lead Technologist and Center/Area Manager regarding departmental concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.

Current ARDMS RVT or ARRT VS registry – preferred

Current ARDMS OB/GYN or ARRT S registry – preferred
