Touchstone Medical Imaging in Denton, TX is seeking a motivated Ultrasound Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team on a part-time basis. The role requires performing high-quality ultrasound exams with attention to patient comfort and safety, following physician orders and established protocols.

The position offers a Monday OR Thursday shift, one shift per week from 7:00am to 7:00pm, with opportunities to collaborate with radiologists and frontline staff in a fast-paced, patient-focused

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) and/or OB/GYN certification required.
• State licensure as required.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures per physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, image acquisition, and quality assurance.
• Maintain equipment and report issues promptly; ensure safety and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas.

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused part-time Ultrasound Technologist to join our team to help support our Oaktree Plaza outpatient imaging center in Denton, TX.

Looking for Monday OR Thursday coverage, one shift per week in Denton. 7:00am to 7:00pm

Position Summary

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures (e.g., general, vascular, OB/GYN as applicable) in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient positioning, image acquisition, and quality assurance
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the exam
• Recognize and document anatomical, pathological, and technical factors to produce high-quality images
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
