Job summary

Envision Radiology is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technologist for evening shifts in McKinney, Texas. You will perform ultrasound procedures on adult and pediatric patients and assist radiologists during specialized exams to obtain diagnostic images.

The role requires strong patient communication, attention to safety, and ability to work closely with clinicians in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Monday/Wednesday/Friday evenings are required, with on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Two plus years’ ultrasound experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program.
• ARDMS RVT or ARRT VS preferred.
• OB/GYN ARRT(S) or RVT preferred.
• Current license from state medical board (if applicable).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provide instructions to obtain the best image.
• Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and consent; screens patients for implants, allergies, etc.
• Performs ultrasound scans and prints images; notifies if patient condition changes.
• Assists Radiologist on specialized exams.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintains and inspects equipment; reports quality concerns.
• Interfaces with Lead Technologist/Center Manager regarding departmental concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
