NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technologist to perform a range of ultrasound examinations in General Sonography and Doppler. You will greet patients, assess conditions, select transducers, and adjust equipment to ensure accurate diagnostic testing.

Requirements include ARDMS registration, BCLS, and a minimum of 3 years post-training ultrasound experience. The role covers the Center for Community Health (CCH) and Brooklyn Methodist Hospital on

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
• BCLS certification from AHA.
• 3 years of direct ultrasound experience post training (General Sonography and Doppler).

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations for General ultrasound services.
• Greet patients, visitors, and staff warmly and assist as needed.
• Assess patient condition and select the proper transducer; adjust equipment for diagnostic testing.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards to support patient care services.
• Cover the Center for Community Health (CCH) and Brooklyn Methodist Hospital with 8:00am–4:00pm shifts on Mondays and Fridays.
