Job summary

Axiom Learning Inc is seeking part-time instructors to provide academic support to LAUSD students, with sessions scheduled between 2pm and 5pm PST. You will report on student progress weekly and quarterly, and take initiative to support the program’s mission.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS or are recent graduates, strong communication and organizational skills, and a willingness to contribute to groundbreaking education methods including executive functioning training.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BA/BS or have graduated.
• Available 2pm–5pm PST Monday–Friday.
• Ambition and readiness to change the world.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through on tasks.
• Some work experience in teaching or relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to LAUSD students.
• Provide weekly and quarterly reports on students' progress.
• Prepare updates on students, and discuss questions or concerns.
• Take the lead on initiatives that support Axiom's mission statement.
