Job summary

A+ Tutoring Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking a part-time Elementary School Tutor to deliver engaging one-on-one or small group lessons in English Language Arts and Mathematics for students in grades K-6.

You will tailor lessons, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and teachers to support each child's growth, while maintaining organized records and a flexible after-school schedule. The ideal candidate brings classroom experience, a genuine passion for teaching, and the ability to adapt

Qualifications

Passion for teaching and love for working with children.
Elementary teaching experience, especially in English Language Arts and Mathematics.
Teaching credential or relevant degree preferred.
Knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional techniques.
Excellent communication, with patience, adaptability and organization.

Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions for students in grades K-6, primarily focusing on English Language Arts and Mathematics.
Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with students' needs, interests, and curriculum requirements.
Assess students' strengths and areas for improvement to tailor instruction accordingly.
Utilize engaging teaching strategies and diverse resources to make learning interactive and fun.
Provide feedback, monitor progress, and maintain records; collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff.
