Job summary

Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, seeks part-time tutors in New Britain, CT. Tutors provide contracted instructional services in reading, math, and writing with a proven curriculum and ongoing support.

Roles include planning, assessment, and collaboration with school staff and families. We offer a support system for professional development and a range of career options, with compensation at $35 per hour.

Qualifications

• Non-licensed tutors: associate degree (or higher) or at least two years of study (48 semester hours / 72 quarter hours).
• Licensed tutors: teachers with CT credentials recognized by the State as properly licensed.
• Tutors must complete an FBI/BCI background check.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services for students.
• Communicate progress with parents and attend meetings as required.
• Deliver instructional methods using company-approved materials and strategies.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
