Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• 1 year outpatient RN experience preferred.
• WA RN license active.
• NLC: if license from participating state, provide residency proof and suicide-prevention training; WA license within 6 months if relocating.
• BCLS within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care during patient visits, recording chief complaints, vital signs, and health history.
• Conduct phone triage to determine next steps and follow up care.
• Document history, assessments, actions, and medications in EMR.
• Assist providers in diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Perform IV starts when ordered and explain procedures to patients.
• Gather allergy and medical condition information from patients.
• Educate patients on medications, side effects, and usage.
• Collaborate with providers on care plans and interagency referrals.
• Coordinate and implement patient plan of care with the team.
• Maintain patient flow with ancillary staff and ensure compliance with JCAHO/HRSA/YVFWC requirements.
