Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic in Spokane, WA seeks a relief Registered Nurse for a part-time, non-exempt role. The RN provides compassionate, patient-centered care, taking vitals, health histories, and coordinating with providers to ensure quality outcomes.

The position requires WA RN licensure, BCLS, and outpatient RN experience; bilingual Spanish is preferred and eligible for differential compensation. EPIC is the EMR, with responsibilities including triage, education, and referrals.

Formación

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• One year of outpatient or clinical RN experience preferred.
• Active WA RN license; dual Washington/Oregon licensure required within 120 days.
• BCLS within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency at level 10 preferred; eligible for bilingual differential compensation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care during patient visits by discussing chief complaint, taking vital signs, and health history.
• Perform phone triage to determine next steps and follow-up care.
• Document health history, assessments, actions, and medications in the EMR system.
• Assist providers with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Perform IV starts and educate patients on procedures and potential complications.
