Job summary

Texas Panhandle Centers is seeking a Part-Time Juvenile Probation Case Manager (1405) to deliver trauma-informed care, skills training, and recovery planning to youths under 18 in Amarillo.

This role offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with direct youth and family work, and a focus on evidence-based practices. Eligible candidates hold a related Bachelor's degree and a Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Human Services field (required for QMHP credentialing).
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with insurable driving record.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ethical and professional communications using respectful trauma-informed care language.
• Work an intensive caseload for identified youths with behavioral health issues and involvement with the juvenile justice system.
• Assess, plan for treatment, work with the Child and Adolescent team to ensure services are delivered, engage families.
• Teach and model skills addressing community living, social, coping, problem solving, anger management, parenting, and self‑control.
• Provide direct, community-based care (50%+ of time in home/community settings).
• Train in evidence-based curriculum to improve daily functioning and community tenure.
• Meet contract requirements for the TCOOMMI Juvenile Program.
