US Lawns is seeking a Part-time Transit Driver to operate vehicles on a fixed route or door-to-door service for eligible patrons, emphasizing safe driving and exceptional customer service for timely, reliable transportation.

You may also support dispatch, documentation, and other duties as assigned. The role requires cooperation with officials, other city employees, and the public, with exposure to weather and traffic hazards in a department vehicle environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Class B CDL with airbrake and passenger endorsements required.
• One year of large vehicle driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates Department vehicles to provide timely, reliable, and safe transportation.
• Collects fares and/or checks passes or vouchers.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip checks and ensures passenger safety during boarding and disembarkation.
