Job summary

Human Services Management Corporation is seeking a driver to provide reliable transportation for individuals, prioritizing safety and clear communication between riders and staff. The role requires operating and maintaining assigned vehicles, keeping thorough trip and vehicle records, and assisting riders in and out of vehicles using ramps or lifts as needed.

This position offers part-time shifts with a minimum of 10 hours per week and a sign-on bonus for those working 20 hours or more weekly.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and consumer courtesy.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate, up to date records on trip sheets, consumer transportation forms, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incident reports, accident reports, vehicle condition reports and other records that are requested.
• Assist individuals in and out of the vehicle ensuring that all required safety equipment is utilized in the process of transporting consumers. This will include, but may not be limited to, operating ramps, lifts, and utilizing securement devices, as needed.
• Read and interpret maps and driving directions to take the most efficient route. and read and interpret road signs in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
