Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid California Driver License with clean driving record.
• At least one year of customer-service or public-contact experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol streets and issue citations for parking violations.
• Explain regulations and assist during traffic or emergency situations.
• Operate handheld devices for citation issuance.
• Document violations and prepare enforcement reports.
• Coordinate towing and vehicle storage when required.
• Maintain parking enforcement vehicles in good condition.
• Respond to traffic control requests and direct traffic.
• Testify at administrative hearings and court cases.
• Communicate with public safety dispatchers via radio.
• Complete related duties as assigned.
