Job summary

Mattel is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to support in-store execution across assigned retailers in the Canton, MI area. You'll manage product placement, stock levels, and basic merchandising tasks while representing the Mattel brand with professionalism.

This role offers up to 30 hours per week with additional hours during the holiday season. Daytime shifts, mileage reimbursement, and training opportunities are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED, some college preferred.
• Available to work daytime hours during the week; occasional weekends.
• Access to reliable internet and transportation to travel between stores.
• Reside within ~20 miles of Canton, MI 48188 to service assigned territory.
• Merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Develop strong relationships through effective communication and negotiation.
• Represent the brand with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Ability to prioritize work with time management and a sense of urgency.
• Self-motivated with a bias for action and resourceful decisions.
• Eagerness to learn with a safety-first mindset.
• Tech-savvy (Microsoft Office, iPads and apps).

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with store teams.
• Brand ambassador for Mattel products and brands.
• Secure prime product placements on the sales floor.
• Unpack cases of Mattel toys and stock shelves.
• Merchandise and organize products on the floor.
• Assist with store fixtures and POS materials.
• Support store events and collect feedback data.
• Complete reports and surveys as needed.
• Train and lead fellow associates when required.
