Job summary

Alhambra Elementary School District Barcelona Elementary School - Glendale, Arizona is seeking an Assistant, Instructional (Title I) to work under site administration, providing supplemental support to students and helping implement the site action plan. Starting date is immediate.

This is a part-time, nine-month position with salary in the range of $15.44 to $17.87 per hour and employee benefits per Board Policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework desirable but not required.
• Basic typing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Distribute materials to students as directed.
• Prepare materials as directed by certified staff.
• Maintain files and other documents.
• Receive, sort, and shelve materials.
• Assist students and teachers with materials.
• Supervise students in non-instructional activities.
• Conduct interventions aligned with student needs.
• Provide hands-on assistance to students.
• Assist with record keeping.
• Attend in-service training for professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
