Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with 2 years of related experience, or an Associate’s degree may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, administer, and proctor tests for placement and coursework.

Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Part-Time Testing Center Specialist (Pottstown Campus) position. The Testing Center Specialist is an integral member of the Academic Support team, with a primary role of providing support for students in the area of placement and course testing by scheduling, administering, and proctoring tests. Additional testing services responsibilities include data entry of testing exemptions. The Part Time Testing Center Specialist will also provide back-up support to Library and Tutorial Services front line services, as needed.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Education/Training/Work Experience:

• High School diploma or GED required with 2 years work related experience required OR
• Associate’s degree may be preferred
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Excellent communication, both written and oral
• Excellent customer service skills

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of appointment scheduling software and data processing
• Customer service experience
