Job summary

Piedmont Technical College is seeking a part-time Testing Specialist to join the Testing Center team in Greenwood, SC. The role involves administering college placement testing, high school testing, makeup and proctored testing, and online testing across multiple campuses.

You will provide information and support to prospective and current students, work in a multi-campus environment with possible evening hours, and travel between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work well with the general public, faculty and staff.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Testing Center Coordinator, the testing specialist assists with administration of college placement testing services, high school testing, administration of make-up and proctored testing, and online testing, and provides information and support for prospective and current students seeking to utilize testing services on multiple campuses.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

High School Diploma required.

This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office; effective oral and written communications skills; sound judgment; and the ability to work well with the general public and other faculty and staff members.

Additional position requirements:

• The ability to deliver effective service to prospective and current students in a supportive and professional manner.
• Flexibility to work in a multi-campus environment with possible evening hours required
• Flexibility in work hours depending on testing schedule.
• The ability and willingness to travel to multiple testing locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

An Associate’s Degree with demonstrated related administrative experience.
