Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a part-time Testing Center proctor at the Hamilton County campus. The role involves administering and documenting certifications/assessments, scheduling appointments, determining eligibility, and assisting students with placement results.

Proctors will maintain records, input data, and participate in vendor trainings to stay current with procedures. Flexibility is required; evening availability is possible, with occasional travel to high schools for

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of computers is essential.
• Excellent word processing and spreadsheet skills required.
• Strong interpersonal, confidentiality and customer service abilities.
• Flexibility and multitasking capability.
• Willingness to travel to Hamilton County high schools annually for proctoring exams.

Responsibilities

• Administer certification and academic exams through the Center.
• Schedule appointments and determine candidate eligibility and exam availability.
• Maintain records of certifications and document results.
• Input data as needed and learn relevant software/hardware.
• Provide general information about services and assist students with interpretation of results.
• Participate in vendor training and complete proctor exams as required by contracts.
