Job summary

Zymo Research Corporation in Tustin, CA is seeking a part-time customer service representative to support customers worldwide with orders and product inquiries. The role is 12:30PM-4:30PM, Monday to Friday, based at the Zymo Research Operations facility.

You will process orders, assist with returns, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer experience. Requirements include a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and adapt to evolving processes.
• Demonstrated attention to detail in administrative, order-processing, data-entry, or customer operations work.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately process orders via email, fax, and phone using Oracle NetSuite.
• Provide phone and email support to customers on orders and product inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
• Resolve and follow-up on order-related discrepancies.
• Coordinate returns, replacements, refunds, and credit memos.
• Provide customer insight and feedback to improve customer experience and internal processes.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications and order changes.
