Florence Bank in Springfield, MA is seeking a Part-Time Teller to handle customer transactions with accuracy and courtesy at the Allen Street Office. The schedule is 20 hours per week, including 3.5 hours every Saturday and two 7.5 hour days Mon-Fri; shifts are negotiable.

Salary ranges from $17.80 to $22.54 per hour, with compensation commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, foreign currency, and balancing cash.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a customer service-related position.
• Understanding of debits/credits from coursework or job experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong aptitude in math and figure work.
• Prior PC experience.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions accurately and courteously.
• Accept cash and checks for deposit and verify amounts.
• Cash checks and withdrawals after verification.
• Process loan payments and record transactions.
• Balance cash and assist with night deposits and ATM balancing.
• Promote bank products and services to customers.
• Provide support to other branches as needed.
