Job summary

Altabank, Division of Glacier Bank, seeks a Part-time Teller/New Accounts Representative for the Sandy Branch. You will assist customers with transactions and banking services, resolve inquiries, and support branch operations with a customer-first approach.

The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, compliance with banking regulations, and participation in training and progression programs. Part-time schedule includes weekdays and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• At least 6 months of related experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and cash handling skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, credit card payments, cashier's checks, fund transfers and sell gift cards; balance cash drawer daily.
• Provide solution-based banking services and products based on customer needs.
• Resolve customer concerns within authority and escalate when needed; handle phones, wires, stop payments, check orders and debit cards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and deepen relationships per established standards.
• Open and close the branch as scheduled.
• Comply with laws and regulations (Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, OFAC).
• Complete required bank training; seek clarification when needed.
• Participate in Summit Progression Program to develop skills.
• Represent Altabank with professionalism and integrity; maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and adapt to changing duties.
• Engage in community service and bank-sponsored activities.
