Job summary

First Bank is seeking a Part-Time Teller, Level 1 in Escanaba to assist customers with routine financial transactions and basic service requests. You will balance cash, process deposits and withdrawals, and issue cashier’s checks while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Greet customers, answer phones, and forward requests to appropriate departments. This role offers up to 30 hours per week with opportunities for growth within Customer Service.

Qualifications

• Numerical aptitude and accurate typing required.
• Cash handling ability and good interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to learn bank products and explain them to customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers and answer phones as instructed.
• Execute basic transactions (withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, cashier’s checks).
• Process nights drops, drop-offs and mail.
• Keep teller area organized and supplies stocked for front line and drive-thru services.
• Maintain accurate records, balance daily, and account for cash drawer.
• Process and balance Branch Capture work and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform general account maintenance, including address changes and check and debit card orders.
• Complete a variety of forms and applications (stop pays, disputes, debit card applications).
• Comply with BSA requirements and attend mandatory training; other duties as assigned.
