Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service or cash handling experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with credit union or financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, cashier’s checks, money orders, and more with accuracy, care, and professionalism.
• Balance daily transactions, monitor cash totals, and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain operational excellence and security.
• Answer questions, offer guidance, and assist with account updates, safe deposit access, and general inquiries both in-person and over the phone.
• Promote Embers products and services to strengthen member relationships.
• Adhere to policies to ensure member privacy, regulatory compliance, and safe handling of currency and negotiable instruments.
• Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and project professionalism and warmth in every interaction.
• Support the team with additional clerical tasks and branch operations as needed.
