Job summary

UW Credit Union's Sun Prairie branch is hiring a Peak-Time Teller for the Sun Prairie location. The role involves providing front-facing member service and handling a variety of transactions with accuracy and enthusiasm.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 11:00am–3:00pm plus 9 Saturdays per quarter 8:30am–1:30pm. FTE 0.45; salary grade 5; minimum wage starts at USD 20.50 per hour. Join a team that values problem solving and member relationships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Demonstrates ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills.
• Team player that can confidently jump in where and when you are needed.
• Ability to work in an autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of UW Credit Union by providing front facing member service at the Sun Prairie branch location
• Achieve balanced scorecard results in alignment with Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy
• Maintain a high degree of knowledge in all UW Credit Union products and services
• Ensure all members requests are processed accurately and efficiently
• Adhere to UW Credit Union's Cash Management policies and procedures
• Research all teller transactions when potential errors are identified, and communicate with affected members
• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through building rapport, uncovering needs, making recommendations, & submitting referrals
• Consistently seek out opportunities to exceed member expectations
