Job summary

First Interstate Bank in Rosholt, SD is seeking a Part-Time Teller to handle daily teller transactions in the lobby and drive-up window, delivering outstanding client service and building relationships.

You will process deposits, loans, cash checks, manage currency, and assist customers with referrals to additional products. The role requires cash handling experience, strong math and communication skills, and a commitment to confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, loan payments, cashing checks, and withdrawals for clients.
• Answer clients’ questions in person and over the phone and promote bank services.
• Record activities and referrals using 360View and process credit card applications.
• Complete special requests such as closing accounts, exchanging currency, and obtaining statements.
• Reconcile cash drawer and maintain cash supplies while ensuring security procedures.
