Job summary

Landmark Credit Union in Wisconsin is looking for a friendly teller to serve members with accuracy and courtesy. This part-time role involves cash handling, basic product explanations, and delivering exceptional member experiences, including weekends.

You will cross-sell services, balance cash drawers, and support branch operations during Saturday shifts and varying weekday hours in a collaborative team environment. A high school diploma and good communication skills are required.

• Familiarity with credit union policies and relevant laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly teller services and maintain a balanced cash drawer daily.
• Cross-sell other member services.
• Process mail deposits and withdrawals.
• Assist in balancing ATM or other duties as assigned.
• May train to perform open/closing duties with on-site manager.
• May train to verify checks for other tellers.
• May train to perform overrides.
• May be cross-trained to help in other branch positions.
• Attend training at HQ or off-site locations as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Being bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish, is preferred. This 25-28 hr/week position requires working varying weekday shifts and every Saturday.

BRANCH HOURS

Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Friday, 8:30 AM to 6 PM
Saturday, 9 AM to 1 PM

NATURE AND SCOPE

Performs transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high accuracy. Provides cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures. Presents and explains a basic number of credit union products and services tomembers. Represents the credit union in a positive and professional manner.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous work experience with cash handling or customer service preferred.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills,organizational skills and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Must have experience or be able to gain proficiency in all programs and systems usedfor this job.
• Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as theyrelate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and alljob-related State and federal laws and regulations.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provides friendly, courteous, and expedient teller and other related services tomembers resulting in a balanced cash drawer daily.
• Cross-sells other member services.
• Processes mail deposits and withdrawals.
• May assist in balancing the ATM (if not performed by an outside source).
• May train to perform open/closing duties (with manager on site).
