Job summary

Landmark Credit Union is seeking a full-time teller to provide friendly, accurate cash handling and member service at our Oak Creek branch. You will process deposits and withdrawals, cross-sell services, and assist with occasional ATM balancing and opening/closing duties under supervision.

The role requires standing for long periods and strong communication skills; weekday shifts and every other Saturday are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Must have experience or be able to gain proficiency in all programs and systems used for this job.
• Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job-related State and federal laws and regulations.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Provides teller and related services to members with a balanced cash drawer daily.
• Cross-sells other member services.
• Processes mail deposits and withdrawals.
• May assist in balancing the ATM.
• May train to perform open/closing duties with manager on site.
• May train to verify checks for other tellers.
• May train to perform overrides.
• May be cross trained to help in other positions within the branch.
• May be required to attend training at headquarters or an off-site location.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Being bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish, is preferred. This 40 hr/week position requires working weekday shifts and every other Saturday.

BRANCH HOURS

Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Friday, 8:30 AM to 6 PM

Saturday, 9 AM to 1 PM

NATURE AND SCOPE

Performs transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high accuracy. Provides cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures. Presents and explains a basic number of credit union products and services to members. Represents the credit union in a positive and professional manner.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5. May train to perform open/closing duties (with manager on site).
