Job Summary

Provides service to bank customers by conducting transactions and meeting their needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform paying and receiving transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Meet teller balancing standards monthly as per the Teller Over & Short Policy.
• Deliver excellent service to all customers.
• Assist colleagues with additional duties within the banking center.
• Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and examine checks for endorsements.
• Cash checks and pay out money after verifying signatures and customer balances.
• Enter customer transactions into the computer and issue receipts.
• Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
• Explain, promote, or sell banking products such as travelers checks, money orders, and cashier's checks.
• Manage ATM and night depository cash counts and balances.
• Comply with banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, and follow bank policies and procedures. Complete required training.
