Job summary

Gwinnett County Government is seeking a Technical Trainer to develop and deliver comprehensive technical training for County employees. The role emphasizes Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power BI, and Power Automate to enhance business processes and data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate will create curriculum, instructional materials, and hands-on exercises, and deliver sessions both in-person and virtually.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology is required.
Minimum of five years in a technical trainer role.
Expertise in Microsoft 365 applications.
Proficiency in creating multimedia training content (PowerPoint, video, manuals).
CTT+ Certification required; MCT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and deliver technical training courses based on County technology.
Deliver training on Microsoft 365 and Power Platform with emphasis on Power BI and Power Automate.
Create hands-on exercises, job aids, and instructional materials.
Provide training to enhance data literacy and data-driven decision-making.
Lead in-person and virtual instructor-led sessions and webinars.
Collaborate with SMEs to identify training needs and tailor learning.
Keep content current with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform releases and trends.
Maintain training schedules, participation records, and evaluations.
Provide end-user support and expand training across the County.
