Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactivePart-Time Technical Recruiterto join our team. This fully remote role will focus on sourcing top talent for roles in IT and cybersecurity, supporting hiring efforts for both government and commercial engagements. While this is a remote role,preference will be given to candidates located within the Hampton Roads–Richmond corridor of Virginiato foster greater collaboration and regional alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and attract candidates for technical roles such as systems engineers, security architects, security engineers, GRC analysts, vulnerability assessment analysts, system administrators, IAM engineers, developers, and Linux patch management specialists.
  • Develop screening questionnaires and tailored interview questions to assess technical and cultural fit.
  • Conduct initial video screenings to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, communication skills, and overall fit for the role.
  • Perform reference checks and validate candidates’ career history.
  • Manage a robust pipeline of candidates for suitable positions, ensuring a steady flow of potential hires.
  • Promote open roles across job boards and social media platforms to maximize visibility and attract qualified talent.
  • Manage candidate communication and act as a primary liaison throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to present candidates and provide detailed recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Utilize ATS systems and recruiting tools, such as LinkedIn, to manage candidate pipelines and sourcing efforts.

Work Conditions

  • Fully remote position - candidates within the Hampton Roads-Richmond corridor may be required to present on-site within the region on a monthly basis.
  • Flexible part-time schedule ranging between5–20 hours per weekwithin the9 AM – 5 PM EST time zone.

Requirements
  • Minimum of2 years of recruiting experiencein the consulting industry, with a focus on IT services and cybersecurity roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Experience developing screening and interview questions for technical roles.
  • Ability to learn and navigate new software applications to perform the responsibilities of the role (e.g., generative AI).
  • Experience in promoting open roles across job boards and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative virtual environment (e.g., Roam Virtual Office).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Preferred location: Hampton Roads–Richmond corridor of Virginia.
